On September 1, the “Data Connecting the World, the Greater Bay Area Shaping the Future” National Data International Cooperation Guangzhou Pilot Launch Conference and Nansha “International Digital Port” Development Promotion Conference was held in Nansha, Guangzhou.

Representatives from Guangdong Province, Guangzhou Municipality, Nansha District, and Hong Kong and Macao jointly launched the pilot program at the event, marking a significant step forward in data collaboration across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. As one of the first cities in China selected for the national pilot program on international cooperation in the data sector, Guangzhou is now moving its exploration of cross-border data services from initial policy approval and planning into substantive implementation.

At the conference, Mao Zhigang, Deputy General Manager of the China Marketing Center of Guangzhou Tozed Kangwei Technology Co., Ltd., represented the company in signing an agreement with China Unicom Guangzhou Branch for a Token Service Project. The partnership marks Tozed Kangwei’s deeper participation in Nansha’s innovative practices for cross-border data development and its efforts to support digital industries in expanding into international markets.

Under the agreement, Tozed Kangwei will leverage its expertise in 5G communication terminals, edge AI hardware, and established overseas channels, together with China Unicom’s high-quality operator network resources, to explore the integration of 5G communication terminals with AI token services.

The company will further explore new pathways for integrating 5G AI terminals with overseas token service applications, leveraging operators’ cross-border computing resources to expand international application scenarios. Tozed Kangwei aims to provide overseas customers with integrated solutions combining “5G terminals + computing power + token services,” enabling digital applications across diverse sectors such as gaming, animation, and healthcare to reach global markets.

As a Nansha-based national-level “Little Giant” enterprise specializing in niche markets, Tozed Kangwei has been deeply engaged in the communication terminal industry for more than two decades. Its products and services have been deployed by operators across multiple international markets, supported by strong capabilities in overseas market development and implementation.

Building on the policy advantages, computing infrastructure, and cross-border data pilot environment of Nansha’s “International Digital Port,” Tozed Kangwei is integrating its terminal hardware capabilities with the emerging token economy. By connecting hardware terminals, computing resource orchestration, and token services, the company is developing an integrated pathway for taking digital solutions overseas and actively responding to Nansha’s efforts to foster new business models for “token services going global.”

With the national pilot program for international cooperation in the data sector taking shape in Nansha, a four-dimensional international data cooperation ecosystem covering infrastructure, rules, platforms, and ecosystem development is being established, creating a favorable environment for enterprises seeking to expand data-related businesses internationally.
