Tozed Kangwei Joins Global Partners at the SAMENA Leaders' Summit to Launch the World's First Commercial U6GHz Initiative and Advance the Future of 6G

Date: 2026.07.17

On April 1, 2026, Tozed Kangwei was invited as a U6GHz ecosystem partner to attend the SAMENA Telecommunications Council Leaders' Summit 2026, held at Atlantis The Palm, Dubai, UAE. During the event, Tozed Kangwei joined representatives from the SAMENA Telecommunications Council (South Asia, Middle East and North Africa Telecommunications Council), the UAE Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), the GSMA, leading operators including du and e&, as well as technology companies such as Huawei, Nokia, and HONOR, to participate in the world's first commercial launch ceremony for the U6GHz ecosystem.

U6GHz (Upper 6 GHz, 6425–7125 MHz, corresponding to 3GPP NR Band n104) is a critical spectrum resource for 5G-Advanced (5G-A/5.5G) and future 6G mobile communications. It is capable of delivering downlink peak rates of up to 10 Gbps while achieving an optimal balance between coverage and capacity, making it a key spectrum resource for addressing the explosive growth of AI-driven data traffic. Tozed Kangwei has been actively participating in the global U6GHz ecosystem, accelerating the commercialization of U6GHz while positioning it as a strategic foundation for the evolution toward the 6G era. Through continuous innovation and ecosystem collaboration, the company is helping lay the groundwork for future 6G technologies and spectrum utilization.

On the same day, Tozed Kangwei also participated in the 6GHz Roundtable Discussion, moderated by Mr. Ali Cheema of Ericsson. Mr. Wang Kewen, Deputy General Manager of Tozed Kangwei's International Marketing Center, joined industry leaders including Mr. Hichame Hifdi from du, Ms. Bushra Abdelaziz Alyas from e&, and Mr. Brahim Ghribi from Nokia to discuss the practical realities behind the industry's policy vision. The discussion focused on the capacity challenges that 6GHz is expected to address, the current maturity of the device and supplier ecosystem, and the regulatory support operators require to confidently invest in large-scale deployments.

During the discussion, Mr. Wang shared that Tozed Kangwei had successfully developed the world's first U6GHz CPE as early as January 2025 and has since collaborated with ecosystem partners to conduct a series of live network trials worldwide. He also introduced Tozed Kangwei's U6GHz CPE product roadmap and called for closer collaboration across the ecosystem, enabling vendors to synchronize with operators more effectively and deliver highly customized solutions tailored to operators' large-scale deployment requirements and future network planning. His remarks reflected Tozed Kangwei's commitment to evolving from a technology provider into a collaborative innovation partner.

The roundtable delivered a clear industry message: market demand for U6GHz is real, the ecosystem is steadily maturing, and what the industry urgently needs is a spectrum allocation mechanism and regulatory framework that aligns with commercial deployment timelines. U6GHz is not only a key spectrum band for 5G-Advanced but also one of the leading candidate bands for future 6G networks. Through its forward-looking strategy, Tozed Kangwei is playing a dual role as both an active contributor to technology innovation and a key participant in global industry collaboration, helping accelerate the path toward 6G.

Looking ahead, Tozed Kangwei will continue working closely with global ecosystem partners to accelerate the commercial deployment of U6GHz and contribute to the successful realization of the 6G era.
